And about the trend skirt over pants, Japanese people have been doing it for a long time and looking good. But they often mix midi skirt or long dress with texture contrast, not mini skirt.

I highly disagree with these. (Open replies for full advice) I have the body type ur talking about. 1. Do not buy one pieces that connect between the legs, aka jumpsuits, minidresses with shorts sawn in 2. Do not buy high waisted dresses, etc. Actually go for low waist dresses. Let me explain: when you wear a dress, it looks the most flattering when it singes at the waist (where there are no ribs). If you have a long torso, chances are regular waists singe too high at the ribs, which is the widest part of your torso. If you go for high waisted, it will singe under the chest, making you look "pregnant". However, if you go for low rise dresses, it will singe right at the waist for longer torso girlies...
